Penny Lou, the star of “Ragtime: The Musical,” is a talented and charismatic performer who captivates audiences with her powerful acting and captivating voice. Her exceptional talent and dedication to her craft have earned her a well-deserved reputation as a force to be reckoned with in the world of musical theatre.
Born in Pennsylvania and raised in Baltimore County, Penny’s love for the stage began at a young age, when she had a cameo role in September Song’s production of The Little Mermaid. After that, she then auditioned and was offered the lead role of Rufus in Third Wall Productions production of Legally Blonde: The Musical.
Outside of her acting career, Penny Lou is a self-professed foodie and enjoys indulging in her favorite snacks. Hot dogs, crunchy carrots, and French fries are just a few of the delicacies she loves to savor in her downtime. However, her passion for the stage always calls her back to the world of live performance, where she continues to captivate and inspire audiences with every performance.
